Sant Jordi is a beautiful party in Catalunya.Its a cool tradition in a way. I just remember one of my childhood situations when one of my first girlfriends give me a book and I give her a beautiful red rose. I felt Happy and important for someone. But I didn’t know nothing about life, so I was completely wrong in that time.
Sant Jordi became an ugly party in a way.. Like Valentine’s day. Like a consume party.Like a party that makes you pressure in your life or in your relationship. In another way that day its so bad for flowers.
It’s the day that more dead roses are sold and books.
You can LOVE every day someone without play the rules of the society. It’s not being an anarchist or going against the society. It’s just being TRUE with LIFE AND LOVE.

I did this cartoon to show the true life in Barcelona. Here there are some Indian and Arabic people who sells red roses everyday and no-one buy it. So its depressing for me to see that. In San Jordi’s party they are happy because they sell all.

Sant Jordi es una bonita fiesta en Cataluña. Es una tradición guay de algún modo. Recuerdo una de mis situaciones de infancia cuando una de mis primeras novias me regaló un libro y yo le regalé una bonita rosa roja. Me sentí feliz e importante para alguien. Pero no sabia nada sobre la vida, por lo tanto estaba equivocado en aquel tiempo.
Sant Jordi empezó a ser una fiesta horrible de algún modo..Como San Valentín. Una fiesta consumista. Una fiesta que te presiona en tu vida y en tu relación de pareja. De otro modo ese día es muy malo para las flores. Es el día en que se venden más rosas muertas y se venden más libros.
Pero tu puedes AMAR cada día sin jugar las reglas de la sociedad. No ser anarquista o ir en contra de esta sociedad. Es simplemente ser VERDADERO con la VIDA y el AMOR.

Hice este dibujo para mostrar la vida real en Barcelona. Aquí hay varios indios y marroquíes que venden cada día rosas rojas y nadie les compra. Es bastante deprimente verlo. En la fiesta de Sant Jordi ellos son felices porque las venden todas.
